Anyone else having problems getting their blocks to lay flat. I’ve pressed the life out of them but they still puff out in many wrong places.
Any suggestions?
thanks.

I am dealing with the same issue. I have done a lot of curved piecing, but this one is getting the best of me.

I found what helps is to keep the string fabric kind of loose when attaching it to the first curve side so that when you iron it, there is a little bit more give. I tried the first couple without pinning it cuz i figured i would just ease it in as i went around the curve, but found that if i pin the heck out of it first, it works better. Hope that makes sense and helps some.

I’ll try that. I really like the look of the block but cannot enter those I’ve made. They might flatten out when stretched to match other blocks but I’m not going to have others experiment with that, Maybe a sampler for me, but…
Thanks.
