… and the February Winners Are …
Where did February go? Apparently it was long enough for 25 quilters to make 114 blocks, of which 26 were donated without a chance in the draw, leaving 88 blocks that counted.
I decided that we’d split the blocks among three winners, with 38 blocks going to each. This is lower than my usual “target” set size (of 49 this year), but it felt right for these blocks.
… and the Winners are:
Laurina
Kate
Marybeth (MB)
Congratulations, Ladies, and thanks to everyone who made the low volume string hearts I know they will enjoy.
As soon as I’ve contacted the winners, I’ll send out mailing info to everyone.
Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the new block and the virtual quilt made from 34 block photos from sneak peekers. (If you sent a photo to me, remember that you still need to post your blocks for them to count in the drawing.
I will also post the Weekend Update post tomorrow. It’s a topic-free weekend, so please come share something from your blog (or post something here and link it).
Ooo, how fun! I often donate my chances but didn’t this month, but I didn’t expect to win 🙂 And now that I’ve recently finished a quilt with blocks I won, I feel better about winning more! LOL.
YAY! I just sent back the info you needed & am going into my sewing room to make myself more blocks. At some point I really fell in love with this block!
It’s great to be a winner, but it does mean that my pile of unfinished projects will grow. Still, I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s beautiful blocks arrive in the mail. Thanks Sophie and everyone out there that plays and contributes.
