First boomer blocks arrive Down Under

Hi everyone,

The first packages of boomer-boomerette blocks arrived yesterday (15 Oct). Probably 14 Oct US time).These were from Marybeth (postmark 3 Oct), Julie P (postmark 7 Oct), Nann (4 Oct) and Elizabeth (4 Oct). Fantastic to receive such lovely blocks on the one day. Many thanks also for the lovely letter (Elizabeth) and card (Nann). I feel so privileged to be a lucky winner this month.  Also many thanks to Sophie for all her hard work to make everything possible.

PS: I  have 2 quilts put together awaiting quilting- these are from the log cabin roses block (my introduction to block lotto years before joining) and the african violets block. Hopefully will make a tart next week.
