Mid-Month Don’t Forgets

It’s time for the mid-month reminders:

If you made Boomer blocks LAST month and haven’t yet mailed them … please do so ASAP.
If you have made and posted Oak Leaf blocks, make sure they are accounted for correctly on the at-a-glance page and let me know if I’ve made a mistake.
If you plan to make Oak Leaf blocks for the block lotto this month and want to qualify for the sneak peek, you have a little over a week to do so. The deadline for the sneak peek is Thursday, October 24 at noon (on the US East Coast).
As always the deadline for posting blocks to be included in the drawing is October 31 at noon (US east coast time).

FYI, I mailed my blocks today. I went to a different than my usual post office and the clerk decided on her own to add real stamps for postage instead of the usual printed postal strip. She won me over with that small gesture.

Mailed mine today too. Our little post office doesn’t have the postage machine, so always uses a variety of stamps. The postmistress gets a big kick out of mailing them off to other countries, too – I often take an extra block in and show her what we made for the month.
