The November Sneak Peek E-Mail has been Sent
If you have made and posted blocks this month, you should have received email from me with information about the November block.
As usual, I’m asking everyone who has made blocks to make sure that the information I have for YOU and your blocks on the At-a-Glance page is correct.
If you haven’t yet made and posted Oak Leaf blocks (or want to make more), you have ONE WEEK to do so. The deadline for participating in the drawing is October 31 at Noon on the US East Coast.
If you didn’t receive the sneak peek and want to plan to jump in in November, the blocks will be made from three fabrics:
Background: light, pastel, low volume, neutral fabrics. Please no solid white or white-on-white (WOW) prints. If you make multiple blocks, you may use the same Background in all your blocks. The fabrics on the right examples of the low volume fabric I used for February’s string hearts. They would all be appropriate here.
Focal Fabric: quilter’s choice. If you make multiple blocks, you may use the same Focal fabric in up to four blocks, but each must be combined with a different Accent.
Accent: A solid or tone-on-tone fabric. You may use the Accent fabric in multiple blocks as long as each Focal + Accent fabric combination is unique.
I would love to join in. I have been looking at blocks that were made previously by participants and as I was looking I was wishing that I had been participating!
Thanks, Ellen
