Final March blocks are here
In the past few days I received blocks from Mariella, Elizabeth C, Karen H and Maree – many thanks. I love all your little notes and good wishes. Elizabeth included some of her own beautiful hand-dyed fabrics, and a glorious printed fabric that I hope to use, perhaps as a border with these blocks, thank-you. I couldn’t resist laying the blocks out and playing! I think I like the on point arrangement best:
I LOVE the top one. It’s so wonderful!
Oh, yes, I agree that the on point setting looks best. Makes everything look so much less dense and I think it will be much easier to live with. I like the on points because you can get a bigger quilt with a small number of blocks. Have fun putting your quilt together!
It’s so nice to see the blocks all together. Thanks for sharing. I have never seen an on-point setting I didn’t like, but I also like the light-to-dark arrangement.
These blocks are just awesome together! I am so glad you are showing some of the options. My favorite is the on point too!! Makes me want to go sew up blocks for myself!!
I have to vote for the On-Point arrangement! The blocks look really great – it’s going to make a beautiful spring quilt!! And I spy my block in the mix too and am so chuffed that it arrived!!!
Wow, I agree, the on point rocks! 🙂
I love the on point but they all are fun. The certainly play well together.
I agree with the on-point, mainly because of the lighter blocks in between, which also pop the small stars . The lighter blocks look more like background, which makes more of a focus on the “ladders”, the stars, and the darker blocks. AS Sophie says, “value” is everything!
