Nine Blocks for April

I made these blocks on a sunny Sunday afternoon in still-frozen Michigan, snug inside my studio. Although the “Big Lake” still has icebergs and the woods are still full of snow, there are a few brave shoots coming up in sunny spots. Hope, like crocuses, springs eternal…

  1. Hi Elizabeth, much like you I am still surrounded by the white and I found these little Gems brightened up my world…what a nice blast of colour. Your little beauties are lovely!

  2. Your hand dyed fabric are perfect for this block. The white stuff around here seems to be only on the mountains in the distance. We’re “enjoying” high wind warnings and fearful of the fires that start and spread quickly given a big push by those winds.
