I finally caught the Post Office open on a day I could pass by!
So I have posted my blocks off to Julie P, Maree & Peggy this morning!! I did speak with the clerk and they aren’t concerned at the slowness of my mail delivery. They did mention that people sending to Mexico can request a tracking number to be placed on the envelopes to be able to track them if they go astray….and she said it should have no extra charge…..I in turn did request the tracking number to be put in my envelopes. One thing though, the clerk did tell my envelopes will take at least 4 weeks to arrive……oh but the cost was a fraction of last months postage – so I left the post office relieved and hopeful….. Relieved that I had gotten the cost of mailing down by a huge margin and HOPEFUL that my envelopes will arrive!!! someday…..
Now I’ve just arrived home from the fabric store where I loaded up on some lovely blue fabrics and a few creams…….so I’m going to sew some of my May Blocks today!!!!
