I call it fireworks…

These are the blocks I won last July. Only one had a black background and that gave me an idea.

I made more black background blocks, they don’t follow the rule of a light/dark combo of the same color, but I thought they blended right in. It was hanging up at our quilt show in Blue Earth, MN this weekend.

    What a beautiful quilt you have made. The addition of black really intensifies all the pretty colors in those monochromatic lotto blocks.
