Pet blocks sent to Maree
I had trouble at the post office yesterday and was told I needed to send the envelope as a parcel….($$$) involving customs clearance, slips etc.( it was no bigger then my average mail outs) so, I brought it all home divided it into a couple of envelopes and included letters with each sooo, I could honestly say “Letters for New Zealand!” I am heading back into town this afternoon to mail them! LOL The World is a Laugh a minute!!!
I have had that problem here a couple of years ago -was going to cost me more than triple the normal cost to mail my packages. I took them home and then went to my local neighbourhood post shop and have had no problems since. I am sorry that you had this problem Charlene -I look forward to receiving my letters from you -they are always entertaining.

The post office I went to also tried that trick but I refused to give in and told them I have mailed “little pieces of fabric” this way before to numerous other countries as an envelope. The woman tried to make me feel guilty and said “they may send it back to you”. It’s been about a week and a half and it has not come back so I think the animals are safely on their way!
