  1. Look close at that pattern and you’ll see that the alternate row is actually the same as our bargello 9-patch blocks, made in two colors (instead of three). Alternate a row of tulips and a row of bargello 9-patch with narrow sashing between the rows and you’d have this idea. I think this kind of setting would work with most of the blocks from this year.

    FYI, I edited your post to take it out of the show & tell category (which automagically put your post with a blank image in the slider on the home page and in the gallery) and fixed the link to be clickable. I also pulled in an image of the quilt from the connecting threads site.
