My 2016 block lotto challenge – from blocks to tops

My July top from 2012 June – Simplified Schoolhouse:07-Jul-2016

I added a few paper-pieced trees.  My August top will be from 2011 June – Three-patch rectangle blocks.

    I like how your tree blocks add just a touch of another color and make the quilt more interesting.

      Thanks, I am considering adding a border of trees but as of now it’s a done top 😉

    I love this. Did you win the blocks or make extra for your own quilt? I like that touch of green too.

      Thanks. I won 48 blocks, used 45 in this quilt, leaving me 3 which I plan to use in the backing.

    Nice job! The trees are a great addition, and I like the way you staggered the houses too.
