Purple Diamonds

In late November, my mother, aunt, and I threw a baby shower for my little sister, who is due in January.  I knew I wanted to make her a baby quilt, and had even earmarked the Split 9-Patch blocks for it.  With my visiting mother-in-law minding her grandsons, I was able to make this quilt in three days, the week of the shower.  My sister got all weepy when she opened the package.  I don’t know why – I’d warned her I would be giving her a baby quilt at some point!

So, thank you everyone for the lovely blocks that made a beautiful quilt for my niece-to-be. ^_^
