Silly Strings finished
After spending an enjoyable Christmas with my parents, I was able to get the binding on my quilt and just finished the last hand stitching within the last hour. I love how it has turned out
A heartfelt thanks for all the wonderful blocks and good luck to all in tomorrow’s draw.
WOW such a great looking quilt 🙂
Thanks. Loved your blog today on your Farmer’s Daughter. Finished mine a couple of years ago, thanks to the support of an amazing on line group. Before you know it, yours will be on your bed and you’ll be thinking “I can’t believe I made this quilt with over 3700 pieces.” Yes, I actually counted them, because I am a numbers freak!
Happy quilting, Happy New Years and ENJOY!
Oh!!!! That turned out so cute!!!! I think I see one of my blocks!!!! What A GREAT way to put them together!!!
Wow that looks fabulous.
This is fabulous! You did a wonderful job putting the blocks together. I love it!
I love how it turned out, too 🙂 I think the dark sashing really sets off the light background colors in our blocks.
FYI, I edited your post to change the category to show & tell and to select a feature photo so that it would be featured at the top of the home page (and added to the gallery page) and the image would fill the space in the slider on the home page.
Thanks for doing that. It really makes me proud that you felt it deserved that honor.
Awesome quilt!!
I remember that block. It’s always nice to see some of the blocks made up into quilts and to see how they are laid out. Well done on creating a lovely quilt.
