Some First of the Year Housekeeping
If you made and posted string blocks in December, you should have received email from me with the mailing info for your blocks.
I have updated the at-a-glance page with all the January information and the 38 blocks posted so far. And created my spreadsheet for tracking this year’s blocks to which quilters will be added when they post their first blocks of the year.
I have also uploaded this month’s block pattern to Payhip–the pattern is offered with a “pay-what-you-want” price, which might be free or could be more if you’d like to support the Block Lotto site. Click the cover image at right or the link in yesterday’s announcement post.
The block directions are essentially the same as those in the sneak peek. I have added the fabric yardage for the little heart quilt and a couple examples of other ways to make the block for those who aren’t fans of made fabric.
Thanks, Sophie! I know it takes a lot to run the lotto, and I appreciate your being willing to do all that work.
