Benta’s Bright Forest
As I was going to sleep last night I had an idea how to arrange the black and bright trees that I won in December. A while ago I had tried arranging the blocks as two quilts: one bright on black, and one black on bright, but they were both quite small, so I thought about one style in the centre and the other style outside
Astonishingly, I still remembered it when I woke up this morning, and the blocks went perfectly together in my first (OK, second) arrangement! I would have finished sewing earlier had I not stitched one drop of trees upside down, but it’s now a quilt top, on a fleece blanket, ready for binding when I’m next in the mood for binding.
Ta-da!!!
Thank you Sophie for organising this, and to all of my very kind contributors 🙂
