January 2012 blocks – Eclipse
OMGoodness! another circular block Arrrghh!
But …………… In Sophie We Trust 😉 so I gave it a go.
I had some ‘issues’ LOL with this block – if you are interested, see my post on my blog for full details.
I think I have produced two acceptable blocks – even these I am not completely confident about ;-(
Sophie, these blocks will be donated – if you deem them acceptable 😉
Cathy, they look "acceptable" from here–only you know if the seam allowances are good and they are within the size guidelines. Knowing you, I am assuming they are 😉
I know curves are hard and working with templates can be challenging, but I really believe once we "face our fears" and do it anyway, it opens the door to so many more design possibilities … and so it's worth a little bit of quilting "trauma"
