From the heart blocks I recently won, I made two baby quilt tops – this one, which is a donation to my local library’s fundraising group – they are going to raffle it as part of their summer fair. Last two sets of blocks arrived – hurrah!  Pat’s came yesterday (apparently, they walked!) and Rachel’s came the day before.  So now I have a complete set. The upside of that is that they are great blocks (I will photograph them together soon to show). The downside is I now have less excuse for not doing anything with them yet…

After carryinng them around til forever, I finally got my string hearts in the mail yesterday to Kate!!! Sorry for the delay!!! Congrats and Enjoy!!!!

In the past week (I’m sorry, it has been crazy here on the farm w/the freezes at night & 70F during the day. Right this minute I have a dozen pullets in a dog crate in my bathtub, waiting for it to get over 40F so I can move them back outside.  Where was I?)… In the past week I got hearts from Karen in SA (cool stamps!) & Pat in CA which means all my hearts are HERE! Another set arrived today, from Karen in South Africa, which means all but two have safely landed this side of the Atlantic. Hopefully the other two make it soon (sometimes post can be pretty slow – hard to predict).  Of course, once they are all here, I might have to start thinking about what to do with them…

Friday, Saturday & yesterday (Monday) I got 3 more envelopes. Thanks so much! They were from Cyndi in CA, Kim in NY & Terry in CA. I also finally go myself to the PO & mailed my hearts to Kate & Laurina.
