I’ve done two so far!    Colors are not great on the camera phone…the top block has various shades of blue, and the bottom has a yellow batik background, teal star and purple cross strips. I’ve been busy with the fall semester of school, and it was wonderful to see such a fun block now that I have time to sew again.  I think I will put some kits together with this pattern for a Quilts of Valor Sew-In on New Year’s Day....

Since Sophie is on the road, I did a quick tally of submitted blocks. My UNofficial count is 60 schoolhouse blocks made by 16 quilters as of 6am on Monday June 25. I need to make a few this week, who’s with me??  Let’s get that total up to 100!!!   ~Andi in Arizona
