  Did a little research on “uplifting” colors for this month’s blocks since I really had no idea. Supposedly yellow is the most uplifting and orange is next.  I’m not so sure. Even the blocks without any yellow or orange look pretty uplifting to me especially since I’m not really crazy about yellow or orange. I used my companion and easy angle rulers to make the blocks. I made the star chain blocks for my MOD MOD QAL queen-sized quilt.   Blocks are all made from scraps in complementary colors.  If the block takes more than 2 colors then I’m using black for a third color.
