Thank you Erin in Vesuvius, VA for the great blocks!  I love the name of your town!  My DS spent a summer in Pompeii at archeaology field school and worked on the Pompeii exhibit when it was at the Science Museum of MN a few yrs. ago. Lava your blocks!

So often the post is bills & bills & junk but with Block Lotto the post is really fun!  Fantastic chevrons from Jo S. in Scotland, Caroline C. in the neighbor state to the NW, No. Dak. and from Julie P. in the southern neighbor state, IA.  If there’s ever a next time, Julie , save the postage and bring the blocks to quilt club.  I truly appreciate the efforts of all the participants and especially the international quilters....

With chevrons coming in, I thought I’d better get this going.   I have to get some muslin for a back.   I wanted a very random look.  I’ll free motion quilt with acorns in the small squares and make myself do an all over pattern.   I had a multi-colored batik fabric in dark autumnal colors that works well....

A luscious brown chevron arrived from Jean-Sophie ( Hello Jean-Sophie!!!) and from either New Jersey or Jerusalem, Israel, 3 chevrons, brown, gray & purple beauties from Debbie M!   Thanks so much!!!
