Leaves blowing in…

On Monday I received the first envelope from Barb P, with the second following yesterday from Ginny, thank-you both.  For the next two weeks I am swamped at work (and working at home), so I am going to keep them unopened until all have arrived, otherwise they will distract me!   Karen in Cape Town.

A Bunch of Violets

A Bunch of Violets

The last two blossoms arrived today making a full bunch of violets.  Thank you Mary, and again to everyone for their participation!  I think I might add varying width  strips of green between each block. Here they are add all together, but I have since taking the photo, moved some around.  They are all beautiful individually and...

April Butterflys

April Butterflys

My four butterflys for donation.   I didn’t really enjoy making these, as I challenged myself to get the grain running straight, where I would normally just cut and sew and not worry about it.  Still need to remove the foundations.   I used cotton paper as the foundation, and it stood up far better than the ordinary printer paper with the number of times some seams were ripped out and resewn. I love reading the humourous puns and comments...
