Here are my four Tulip blocks for Spring – yesterday was the equinox, so it’s official!  Thank you to Sophie for recognizing that for some of us living below the equator our seasons are reversed!   With my origins in Wales I still think that March should be Spring with the daffodils and carpets of bluebells!   I was hoping to get a clear photo of some local Spring flowers, but this blurry one is the closest!  They are Pincushion...

I went to the post office yesterday and mailed my cat block to Maree, it should take a week or so to arrive.  I am envious of the winners this time, those were all amazing blocks.  It was a marvellous month reading all the stories that accompanied the posted blocks.  Thanks to Sophie for the challenge this topic created. My four blocks to Sophie were mailed yesterday, will take at least a week from Cape Town.    I am in awe of the US postal system (and other efficient countries), where you seem to have no doubts that something mailed today WILL arrive tomorrow!  🙂  But I do remember December mail in Wales as a child where one would get up to four deliveries a day, come rain or snow!  Karen N.

I liked the combination of colours for this month.  It was great to have the time to be able to sit and sew these, and I again cut extra strips to make more of the same or similar.  I have ended up with a bunch of 9-patch and 16-patch blocks to add to the growing pile for future quilts.  These four blocks are for donation.  Karen N, in Cape...
