Back from vacation!  I got all of my schoolhouses cut and ready to sew.  Here’s my first one.  I can’t wait to see the amazing quilts that the winners of these blocks...

Yesterday I mailed the HC9P blocks to Andi, Laurina, and Michelle.  Congrats to all the winners!  Blocks are coming from Ohio.  You should have them by Tuesday or so.

If you told me when I won that this quilt would be completely finished in March I would have laughed.  But as the blocks arrived I loved it more and more and couldn’t wait to put it together.  As each block arrived I machine embroidered the name and location of the sender.  It is much more modern than what I have made in the past.  You can read the full post on my blog at: ...

I received the eclipse blocks from Debra in Texas today.  Wow!  Thanks everyone for sending blocks so promptly.  They are all in their Ohio home now.  I can wait to play with them tomorrow when my son is in pre-school.  Have a great day all!
