I am busy watching a Craftsy course on paper piecing so decided to try it out on this block.

Over the last week or so I have received gorgeous animal blocks from Andra, Deanna, Karen N, Margaret, Robin and yesterday from Mariella along with a lovely piece of fabric that I am sure will make it into future Block Lotto blocks. Thank you everyone.  I am still to receive blocks from Charlene and Cathy L.  Charlene – I know you posted yours a while ago so they should be here soon.

Oh my goodness -over the last couple of days I have received four more fabulous parcels from Gail, Ginny, Sophie and Laura.  I am so excited about the quilt I can make with these.  I have a three year old grandson who is animal mad -guess who will probably get this quilt.

So far I have received gorgeous pet blocks from Laurina, Deborah and Kathie.  Thanks to all for the blocks and also to Laurina for the little extra in the parcel.  You must have been reading my mind as I was just thinking I needed that size of needle.  I have been doing some thread painting with the Juki and found the size 100 needles were leaving tiny holes in the piece.
