Read MoreHere are my six bullseye blocks for this month. It took a few photographic attempts to get the colours a bit closer to reality. I was not as free wheeling as Sophie and used some handmade cardboard templates with the diagonal or 45 degree line marked and lined them up on a pressed diagonal mark on the fabric squares. Sky 6/6 Snails 7/7 (1 may be replaced lower right) violets 11/11 butterflies for sky 3/4 for mountain 0/1 green leaves ground cover 8/8 for mountain 6/6 So 2 butterflies are missing, better progress than expected. thanks...

Read MoreHere are my three butterflies for this month. Paper piecing is always tricky. I found I had missed adding piece number 5 in my blocks. Lots of unpicking apart from fixing that error, usually due to misalignment and not enough coverage. I also had Old Mac blocks to do as well, not all finished yet. Thanks for the challenge...

Back to the cutting board and sewing machine. Please note the size of the yellow centres sometimes (most of the time) differs from the specified 1.25 inches.
