I think I may be spending my weekend recovering from my Fourth of July.  This is a photo from Pancakes on the Plaza in Santa Fe, a yearly July 4 tradition and fundraiser. Summer is officially here in the northern hemisphere. This sad looking coneflower from my yard is showing the effects of too much wind and not enough rain around here, but it still says summer to me. Painters are returning to my house today to repaint the ceiling (after repairing some damage from a leak).  My week so far has included a lot of furniture moving–most of my living room/dining room furniture is now in the kitchen and studio.   I expect to spend a good chunk of my weekend cleaning up the mess that contractors/repair people always seem to leave behind no matter how neat they are and moving everything back.
