I mailed out my Boomer blocks today.  Hope you girls will enjoy them.

I mailed four blocks today to Margaret.   The P.O. told me they would be there in a few days.  We’ll see….

Put boomer in the mail to Margaret in Australia. It will probably take a couple of weeks before he arrives. It felt a little like I was mailing Flat Stanley. I hope he likes his new home on the other side of the world. Enjoy! Helen Nashville, TN

I mailed two boomers to Margaret in Australia this morning.

Sophie is always considerate and has me send blocks to winners in NZ and Australia. Unfortunately, I am in the US right now. I think the blocks will get to Margaret faster (and cheaper) if I wait until I return to NZ in 2 weeks. They will go in the post as soon as I am home and I will let you know when I have sent them.

I have mailed my two Bloomers off to Katie. She lives so close to me they could have walked there faster than then the mail will take them to get to her.

My one sad boomer is off to Margaret & I am including his slightly smaller brother. Maybe he can help hold the quilt label? Two days have passed and I still haven’t heard from one of our winners, Madison.  I have randomly chosen an alternate winner–congratulations Margaret! Because Madison did not mail the star blocks she made in August, leaving three of the winners three blocks short, I’m asking for a couple volunteers to make a set of three of the Tall Stars and send them to one of the August winners. In September, 20 Quilters made 87 Boomer and Boomerette blocks. Our winners The winners for September 2013 were Kathie and Madison.  Because Madison did not reply within 2 days of my email notification to her, an alternate winner was selected – Margaret.  Because Madison did not mail her blocks from the previous month (her first lotto blocks), I didn’t have faith that she would mail these, either and removed them from the list....
