First blocks here

Just a quick note to say I’ve had my first set of blocks arrive (I expect most of mine will take longer than Marybeths to arrive due to being overseas from most of you) – anyway – I guess we had a good tailwind between Oregon and here as Kathleen’s blocks arrived on Thursday. I look forward to more heading my way soon  🙂  These will be fun to play with!

Thank you!

Thank you!

In the last 3 days I have gotten hearts from Christa in VA, Julie in IA, Kathie in PA, Kathleen in OR, Kathy in OH & Sophie in NM.  There is so much variety in these I love them all!  But there is one I have to share.  Kathleen could not have known but I am in love with my cow (her name was Rebecca when he arrived, but my horse is Becca so we started calling her Cowgirl, but now  it is mostly Your Ladyship).  She is a matronly little Dexter...

I decided that we’d split the blocks among three winners, with 38 blocks going to each.  This is lower than my usual “target” set size (of 49 this year), but it felt right for these blocks. … and the Winners are: Laurina Kate Marybeth (MB)...

One String Heart to enter

One String Heart to enter

I have several cut out but just time to make one (especially with the need to rip out some seams because the long triangle is still tricky for me even though I made the wonky hearts a year ago). I fear the blue is not quite light enough but I hope it will play well with others.  I hope I make it under the...
