Hoping for more by the end of the month but my #1 goal is to get my 2012 block lotto sampler done…..and I’m 4 months behind. I don’t think I’ve ever sewn (or thought about sewing) a non-square block, I think it’s pretty cool.  I think I am going to use a version of this in my husbands quilt. I took the picture slanted and cropped it weird but when I finished sewing the size was perfect.     Happy New Year!  ...

Here are my nine Tall Fly’s. Another block and color combination I really like! So enter me in nine times! Darn! I didn’t win last month, but I do have 27 blocks completed and I’m going to finish a smallish quilt for me. Actually, it was only going to be about 36×45 but since I’ve decided to set them on the diagonal, it will be a bit larger, and I need a few more blocks. No problem! I like putting blocks together...
