Blocks went out yesterday to Mariella and Elizabeth.

My blocks went off today to Mariella and Elizabeth. I wrote two short notes to enclose with the blocks, and once everything was all parcelled up and ready to go (and sealed) noticed that one of the notes was still on the counter, so apologies in advance to whichever of you gets the envelope without the note in it!

So I have posted my blocks off to Julie P, Maree & Peggy this morning!!  I did speak with the clerk and they aren’t concerned at the slowness of my mail delivery.  They did mention that people sending to Mexico can request a tracking number to be placed on the envelopes to be able to track them if they go astray….and she said it should have no extra charge…..I in turn did request the tracking number to be put in my...

Here are my 6 blocks for April.  Once I finally got started on them, they didn’t take long to make.  I love these blocks.

  I made 20 blocks, but only seven made the grade!  These for donation.  In her instructions, Sophie mentioned possibly cutting the pieces big and then trimming, which worked fine – the central blocks were all perfect, but then I think my seam allowances were off and the remainder are too big, and so will just add to my growing pile of orphans!  Karen N...
