5 (and a half) hearts
I’ve finished 5 heart blocks and have the sixth one in progress. I already had all 6 on my design wall (okay, it’s really the roman blind on my bedroom window – I don’t have a wall), so I thought I’d include all of them in the photo.
Two of the hearts I made from a pattern I drafted myself (top left and bottom right), one is made of string squares cut down to rectangles before piecing (top right), one is a series of 3 crumb hearts (bottom left), and the last is four small 3″ paper-pieced blocks (thanks to Carol Doak).
The unfinished one is reverse applique – pieced gray strips behind and a bright stripe in the front. I’m not 100% happy with it – so this may remain unfinished – or I might salvage it and include it in my total.
