I really had hoped…
…to get some coffee cups made. I have been enjoying seeing what everyone has done. But on my birthday, as I was almost finished with the quilt top I had decided to make earlier in the day, my sewing machine quit. Whirring but no needle movement. Broken belt! Monday I put her in the hospital and I don’t know how long it will be. Belt had to be ordered. I’m afraid once I get her back I have too many projects that need to be done for Christmas to get to do lotto blocks. After Christmas I will be starting wedding sewing, as my daughter has a May4 wedding planned. Maybe I will be able to squeeze in time to make lotto blocks occasionally, but don’t be surprised if i seem to have dropped off the face of the earth!
Ugh! What timing and what a crappy thing to happen on OUR birthday! I’m sure you have a lot of projects on your plate right now … and more wedding sewing in the future. As they say, don’t sweat the small stuff and I think monthly lotto blocks fall into that category. Pop in when you can, make blocks when you have the time and inclination and focus on the BIG stuff.
