Using blocks from the lotto, I made two quilts. They were started ages ago. One was finished this summer and the other this fall. I am only now getting around to taking photos of the finished quilts. I am not sure how to add the links for the block patterns.

Tall Bird Block Pattern

String Hear Block Pattern

Star-Crossed Block Pattern

I just copied and pasted. I will try to get the correct tags too.

  1. Who would have thought that PINK would tie all those stars together, but it certainly did. And I love the border on your birds. They are both great.

  2. I fixed the links for you and added your post to the “show and tell” category so that it will be featured on the Home page and in the Gallery. (I chose the pink star-crossed quilt as the featured image, but if you want to change it, you can edit this post and select the bird quilt for your featured image). They are both great, but adding the pink to those scrappy star-crossed blocks is such a great example of how you can add a color/fabric to change the overall feeling of a bunch of blocks.

  3. They are beautiful! Pink is the new neutral. 🙂

  4. Wow!!!! Those turned out Great!!! I especially love how you put the birds together and the border!!! Great ideas on both!!!!

  5. I love them both. Very pretty!

  6. Another great quilt! Congrats on your finishes.

  7. I LOVE the pink!

  8. Ab-Fab!!! I love your style!

  9. I am also still crazy for those BIRDS! I especially like the bird-heart combo.
