Funny that you mentioned the lake shore. I was phone interviewing with someone in Indianapolis and he blamed the icy Lake Michigan with the cold temps in Indy. (That’s what I call some lake effect)!
I don’t recall any winds heading due south from “icy” Lake Michigan. He needs a geography lesson.
