My Calico Cat went into the mail today to Peggy — wish I’d been able to make more!   this was a fun topic to work on. Karen

I call this Cat a “Patchwork Calico Cat” since I used all old fashioned calicos to make her … Am really running out of time to make another pet block but I can TRY!  It is from an old issue of Quilter’s Newsletter magazine from the early to mid 90’s and I downsized it to fit our requirements. Love what others have made so far … some really nice  creative...

Finally got my blocks into the mail to Elizabeth … Eek! I need to make at least 1 for myself to put with what I make each month of whatever pattern we do. It was interesting to play with the colors and values and come up with good mixes. Karen

Here’s my 2 Star blocks.  Not sure why one is so yellowed — both taken at the same place and both use WOW for background. Also, mailed 3 flower blocks to Maree today.  Hope to hear how long it takes to fly all the wayover to her....
