I struggled a little with the low volume fabric selection – especially finding a background that had enough contrast so that the hearts were visible. After trying a few of my prints, I concluded that I was only happy with a solid (or almost solid) background. I had to enlarge it and then add background strips to the sides and the top, but it went together nicely.
