Read MoreIt’s been a journey of peeking only for two years, but I’m back with 5 birds in the air. Really Sophie, like this one so much thinking of doing an entire quilt of them. Loved the directions and the way they were written. Good luck...
Read MoreSent the windows last week to Canada to Gwen and yesterday to Elizabeth. Enjoy. Sorry, couldn’t get some american stamps for a while. 😉
Read MoreThis time I’ve used the right colour. The instructions for this block were fun and easy to do. Got 10 for my quilt done as well. Here are 6 for the draw
Read MoreAs I look back on all the posts all the windows are black, yet I remember somewhere that you can use any colours. So here are three to add with some cute kittie material that someone gave me (have a big cat – 14 pounds – that likes to lie on my quilt while I’m quilting it and at that weight he can do anything he wants!!!). Are these eligible? Or is it just black and white? If not, I’ll keep it for my quilt....
Read MoreSorry about the lateness, been away for two weeks across the provinces. But while there of course I found a quilting store, and that material was calling my name…. 😉 But they’re on their way Laura. Congrats to all the winners. Now I need to start the windows for the next block.

Read MoreSorry for the lateness Cathy, been busy with the strike in BC but yesterday I finally sent 4 bars your way and a small gift as an apology. Enjoy all.
Read MoreI made my 12 for my queen quilt, 4 for the lottery, and 2 extra for the backing of my quilt (wasn’t sure about the size of those two). The quilt top is looking great! Some of my strips have my focus material (orange/red/yellow and just plain wild). Loving...
Read MoreMaree and Peggy, sent them off today, just caught the postwoman picking up from the post office, and I’m sure you’re now waiting for all the mail you’ll be receiving. What a great idea this block lotto is! Congrats to all the winners, so happy for you all and happy to have participated. Bring on the next one!!! Nicole
Read MoreMy name is Nicole and although I have been lurking, this is my first time putting blocks into the block lottery, even though I’ve been quilting for 20 years (made my first quilt when I was 20). I am very excited about the block lottery. The blocks was easy but it was a challenge to make each one different.. So in the end I made six blocks for the lottery and 12 for my quilt of all the blocks this year. The picture of my blocks is not...
